Restrictions of free version
Presentations recorded by PowerCam free version should only be shared at www.powercam.cc site. They should not be shared with third parties in any forms. This special free version of PowerCam does not have an expiration date. After 3 months of usage, a text message (sample page) will be displayed at recorded screen. The text message will be removed when recorded presentation is uploaded and shared on www.powercam.cc site.

Official version vs. free version
1. Both the official and free versions provide same functionalities.

2. Both the official and free versions have same installation procedures.

3. After the installation, both official and free have same recorded results before the 3-month trial
    period expired.

4. For free version, a text message will be displayed at recorded presentation after 3-month trial period.

5. If a license is purchased and registered before the 3-month trial period expired, the free version
   will become as an official version.

[FAQ]
Q: After purchasing an official version, can the text message generated by free version be removed
      and shared with third parties?

A: The message generated by free version cannot be removed by official version. And, the
      presentations with text message (sample page) can only be shared on www.powercam.cc site.

Q: An official version has been purchased but forgotten to register, how to handle the text messages
      generated after 3-month usage?

A: Please contact us at (service@powercam.com.tw) directly. We will assistant you to remove those
      text messages.

Q: After the free version installed, is it required to re-install the PowerCam if an official version
      license is purchased?

A: It is not required.  You just use [PowerCam / Register] to register your license and the free version
     will become as an official version.

Q: How to know if a trial period is expired or not?

A: There are several ways to check:

     1. Use [PowerCam / About] to know how many days remained.

     2. If you shortcut to start PowerCam application, a message window will be showed if trial period
         is expired.

     3. If you use PowerPoint top tool bar’s “red button” to start recording, no messages will be
        displayed for trial period expiration. If the trial period is expired, a text message will be displayed
        at recorded presentation to notify the user.
